Conversion areas, such as former airports, barracks, landfills or brownfield sites, areas along motorways and railway lines, as well as commercial sites, have a great future with solar power and the financial support received through the compensation scheme for feeding electricity into the grid.
Other fallow areas can also be taken advantage of economically thanks to photovoltaics.
It is not only the operator and the landowner that benefit from a solar farm. This contribution to a decentralised supply of energy pays off for local crafts and trades, the municipal budget, the image of the city or the district and, of course, for the environment.
GREAT EXPERTISE FOR BIG PROJECTS
Transforming an area of several hectares into an efficient and smoothly functioning solar power plant requires precise planning and very careful implementation.
SYBAC Solar has realised over 1,000 solar projects, including over 50 solar farms with more than 1 MWp of output and a total output of around 700 MWp. The solar power generated in this way supplies almost 175,000 four-person households with energy each year, thereby reducing CO2 emissions by more than 455,000 tonnes.
